  • Follow the lessons at your own pace. There are 4 building blocks with over 30 videos, taking you through the formation of a financial plan.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

HOW TO ORGANIZE, AND BUILD A SUCCESSFUL FINANCIAL PLAN

When sitting across from a financial advisor or a financial planner ready to prepare or develop a financial plan, you may find that before getting into the numbers and before doing a deep dive into any sort of analysis or projection, similar to a road map, one needs to identify the starting point otherwise known as point “A” and then the destination or point “B.”

In this course we will begin with “the end in mind” so we start with where is it that you would like to be/arrive at in this financial journey?

In this course you’ll learn all about:

  • Point “B”- Your Road Map: The second part of the ‘prep’ phase or point “B” is to articulate, Where are you going? What is the destination? What it is that you want to try to accomplish and wish or dream could be in your future such as needs, wants, goals etc. Once you have a rough idea of your goals, needs and wants, then we need to get a snapshot of our current situation before drawing a path or taking steps to get closer to our goals or destination.
  • Point “A”- Your Road Map: In this part we focus on understanding the current financial situation. I liken it to when you are trying to design a “road map” or take GPS/Waze/Map-quest somewhere, you first need to define where is the starting point or your current situation/location before you can determine your path or journey on how to get to point “B” . Identifying point “A” may provide an individual some clarity. In this part of the course you will learn about the 4 building blocks of a financial life in great detail and how to use them to begin seeing or understanding your current situation.
  • Case Studies: After teaching and explaining the process and the foundation of a financial plan, it’s not always so simple to visualize the finished product. In this part you will get a glimpse into other people’s life with a unique opportunity to learn about four women each with their own “story”, situation and predicament and how and what building a financial plan may look like for each one.
